Dave Sones is a fisherman and a member of the Makah Nation at Neah Bay. He’s been fishing since he was 12 years old. Dave enjoys being on the water, “…I just love what I do. Don’t forget, as fishermen we provide food to people, just like farmers… fishing brings me back to my culture and makes me feel connected with my ancestors and my past. That’s the best part of fishing for me, experiencing that connection.”
